About Sonya Laffoon

Sonya is a Licensed Massage Therapist & Aesthetician. She is a Tennessee native with over 25 years in Massage Therapy experience and 23 years of esthetics. She is passionate about helping people whether it is for pain relief, relaxation or skin care concerns. She takes satisfaction in being able to enhance her client’s natural beauty to inspire confidence from within. She loves sharing knowledge and expertise to help clients conquer any skincare challenge or help relieve pain through massage therapy that clients may be experiencing. She approaches every service with focus on how she can best meet her clients needs long term. Sonya is a graduate of University of Kentucky in 1997, Cumberland Institute of Wellness Education for Massage in 1999, and Queen City Beauty College in 2001. For over two decades she has taken continuous education classes to obtain certifications to perfect her skills and knowledge in several different modalities. She has completed advanced studies in Lymphatic Drainage Massage for post surgery clients. Oncology massage, post medical and plastic surgery massage for scar healing.  She has diverse experience in spa services, and the medical field. She has been employed in healthcare for several years, as well as an educator for massage therapy at local massage school and a lead aesthetician and massage therapist at an Aveda Spa for over 15 years. During her time off, She enjoys traveling, outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
